HoloRhythm Drum School Performance and Drum Circle

Friday 6:30 PM - 7:30 PM

What is HoloRhythm Community Drum School? We are a school centered around the traditional music of West Africa. But we are more than this. When one picks up a drum, you are doing more than taking your hands, generating energy into an instrument made of the flesh of a goat, wood, metal and nylon; you are being with yourself, in your present moment, joining heart to heart with every member of the group. What you feel is what is created. Ultimately, it is not about drumming, it's about self-awareness. The djembe drum is a tool which reflects ourselves to oneself, and to one another, to share intimately our state of being. So, in essence, HoloRhythm Community drum school is a place where people come together to celebrate being. Visit to learn about classes in your area.

They’re not your typical community chorus. They don’t do Mozart or Muzak. On August 6th, from 4-5 pm on the Community Stage, BRVC will take you and your friends down a musical memory lane celebrating major milestones, like getting a first car, getting married, having a child, or moving into a new house. Paul Anka’s hit song, “Times of Your Life”, inspired the current program, which includes songs, such as Kokomo, Sunrise, Sunset, Circle of Life, You’re Sixteen, and more.
